Meet the Owner Daniel West
Black Belt Floor Care was founded and is owned by Daniel West, a dedicated professional with an extensive background in floor care. His journey into the industry began in 2010 when he earned his first cleaning certification after completing an intensive six-month training program at Fedcap Career Design Trade School in Manhattan, NY. This rigorous program provided hands-on experience in general cleaning, floor buffing, burnishing, scrubbing, stripping and waxing, carpet shampooing, carpet extraction, grout and tile cleaning, and window cleaning.
With a solid foundation in floor care techniques, Daniel spent over a decade working in various cleaning and janitorial roles, gaining firsthand experience in different environments and mastering his craft. Never one to stop learning, Daniel recently obtained a second cleaning certification from IAP Career Design Trade School, this time focusing on the business side of cleaning. This certification provided him with the knowledge necessary to run a successful cleaning business, allowing him to combine technical expertise with strong business management skills. Armed with both practical and strategic knowledge, Daniel is committed to providing exceptional floor care services to clients while continuously improving industry standards
